Too broke for Pot...ter

Not much to report today however I'll start with another 'Holy Land Experience' story for you that we forgot to put in yesterday - during the epic performance there was a scene of Jesus defeating the Devil, the scene was a representation of heaven and hell featuring angels and characters that would be found in hell, one of which was none other than Hitler. The whole thing shouldn't have been funny but as the characters were dancing around next to each other me and Amy found ourselves sat holding our mouths shut trying not to laugh! Watching 'Hitler' flailing his arms around beside some sort of Al Capone character was just too surreal. During this scene the audience started shouting encouragement to Jesus and his army of angels. Even a combination of the 'awkward turtle' and the 'awkward starfish' wasn't enough for this situation.
Now on with today... Being openly obsessed with all things Harry Potter (and seeing as Amy has been known to resemble the dark lord when hungover) we were planning to go to the Universal Orlando Resort to visit the Harry Potter World, however at $93 each for the day it was way out of our budget :(. Ticket prices for sea world and water parks were similar in price so we decided to take it easy and chill by the pool. After a long lie in we headed to the pool, the weather is insane here so after an hour or two we were feeling woozy to say the least. Both of us have patches of burn and I have an embarrassing combination of tan lines, we are definitely not built for 36 degree weather!
We just got in from dinner where I had my own gluten free menu - success!!!! And are now packing before we head to New Orleans tomorrow - excited doesn't cover it!

We are loving our trip so far and thought we'd share some of our favourite travelling items that have kept us amused during the long bus rides, plane journeys and tanning sessions ;)
* Solitare -iPhone version. Seriously addictive.
* Watch The Throne - Jay Z & Kanye West. Dat s*** cray!
* 'How To Be a Woman' - Caitlin Moran (Thankyou to Miss Katie Jessica for this book!!). Funniest and most crude thing I think I've ever read!
* 'The Tenderloin' - John Butler. Amy's enjoying it because it's about an Irish boy who goes to San Francisco - her two favourite things!
* Swearing at one another using a deep south accent - great fun.
* Eating. All. The. Time. (Reese's peanut butter cups = beaut)
* Logging onto wifi in restaurants as to prevent any table banter.
